The development of artificial intelligence (AI) demands the strengthening of students' digital literacy and creativity starting from the junior secondary level. However, data indicate that Indonesian students' digital literacy remains low and learning tends to be teacher-centered. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of PROJELIN-based Coding-AI learning (Problem Based Learning and Project Based Learning Integrated) in strengthening students' digital literacy and creativity in pattern recognition and AI tools materials. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 15 seventh-grade students from SMP Negeri 4 Gadung selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a validated AI digital literacy test and a creativity test. The results showed that PROJELIN-based Coding-AI learning effectively strengthened students' AI digital literacy with an N-Gain of 0.70 (high category) and creativity with an N-Gain of 0.67 (medium category). Paired sample t-tests revealed significant differences between pretest and posttest scores for digital literacy and creativiDimensional analysis indicated the highest improvement in critical literacy (N-Gain 0.77) and ethical literacy (N-Gain 0.74), as well as in flexibility (N-Gain 0.71) and originality (N-Gain 0.73). This study concludes that PROJELIN-based Coding-AI learning on pattern recognition and AI tools material is effective in strengthening digital literacy and developing creativity among junior high school students. It is recommended that teachers integrate PBL and PjBL synergistically in Coding-AI learning.
